On 1st February 2020, Myanmar’s military seized control and captured State Counselor Aung San Suu Kyi. Since then, protests have erupted across the country in hopes of restoring democracy.The Burmese community in Singapore worries every day that their friends and families could be next to be killed in the protests. But if anything, this has made them all the more willing to fight back against the military coup.
